Evolutionist View
This is an overly simplistic presentation of the current state of affairs. It's not simply two opposing views, There are many Christians who feel that the Bible teaches and old Earth. Others believe that Genesis is meant to teach man how to relate to God and his creation and not intended to be a literal history account. There are many Christians that believe in both the accuracy of the Bible and an old Earth.
