Irreducible ComplexityMichael J. Behe, Ph.D., advocate of
Intelligent Design, originated the term "Irreducible Complexity," and
defined it in his 1996 book
Darwin's Black Box Irreducible complexity is used as evidence for Intelligent Design, which states that life is so complicated that it must be the work of an intelligent designer rather than the result of evolution.
